All Bud owns in the world fits inside a battered suitcase tied shut with rope. Not only do these few items have a sentimental value for Bud, but they also hold clues to his father’s identity. Imagine you are in Bud’s shoes. Think about and decide what precious things of yours you would have in your suitcase.
Instructions:
- Find an old suitcase, the older, the better. (You can even use a tatty old box.)
- Choose TEN items that hold a sentimental value for you. (If the item is too precious or valuable to use for the project, replace it with something of lesser value or draw a picture of it.)
- You will be displaying your box in the foyer next term.
Make sure you have good reasons for choosing the items in your suitcase as you will be discussing the reasons for your choices in class.
